We are veteran owned and operated. Ron served in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Specialist from 1965-1969. Brian is a graduate of Howe Military School and went to college on a 4-year Marine option NROTC scholarship. We love working with veterans as candidates, because we speak the same language. Veterans have already proven that they can follow instructions and a blueprint for success, which ultimately makes them great franchisees.
We are a family business. We come from a strong lineage of entrepreneurs, going back generations. Ron and Brian are father and son. Michele is our bookkeeper and administrative specialist. We can speak to the lifestyle and values of a generational business.
We strive to bridge the generational gap. Ron is part of the baby boomer generation and Brian is somewhere between gen x and millennial. We are comfortable working with candidates of all ages and backgrounds.
Brian comes from a 21 year B2B sales, management, and hospitality background. He is a 2004 graduate of Miami University. In his spare time, he enjoys Detroit sports, hockey, golf, weightlifting, pickleball, live music, and anything outdoors.
Ron came to consulting after a 30 year career in outside B2B IT sales. He has been a consultant for the last 25 years. He is a 1974 graduate of Bowling Green State University. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, church, volunteering, and spending time with his family.
Our first call will be about 30 minutes in length. We ask off-the-resumè questions in an attempt to find our candidates' "why."
Our second meeting is done either on the phone, on a virtual meeting, or in person. We hand pick options based on our criteria that we discover in our introductory call. We go over the options in detail and allow our candidates to provide feedback until we get them right.
We both get a vote. If it makes sense to work together, we will refer you to trusted franchise development professionals and financial specialists to further the process of uncovering the right opportunity. We coach and support you all the way through the process.

It may be an old cliché, but Ron Kuhlman changed my life…for the better. I was semiretired in Cancun when I received a call from a person I did not know, but seemed to know a lot about me (to my surprise). He had researched LinkedIn, found me, and correctly assumed that I was retired or semiretired. Ron explained that he had a challenging, exciting, risky, and half-crazy proposal for me: I should come out of retirement, and get back in business, but after 40 years working in senior executive positions for AAA companies such as Apple, Xerox, NCR and Genetec, to start a company of my own, how?
Ron was a Franchising promoter / advocate / prophet / devil, and he proposed and convinced me that he would find a suitable, good-fit Franchise that matched my skill set and expertise. And he did. Without Ron, I would have continued playing golf (with a pedestrian 36 handicap…), fishing Blue Marlins (hadn’t caught one for months), both fantastic activities conceded. I’m convinced that if I would have continued “the good life”, it would have stamped an expiration date on me…
I’m back in the saddle, with an energy and drive of someone 25 years younger, working 50 to 60 hours a week, and starting a once-in-a-lifetime business opportunity. Thank you, Ron you did change my life!
